DAWGS maintains a close relationships with professional, state and federal sources and encourages cooperation with those entities to secure, whenever possible, the maximum efficiency of our funds. We emphasize consensual approaches to watershed management and wildlife conservation issues.
Our Base of support comes from local people and visitors who come to our beautiful area to fish. We do an annual fund raisers and welcome support from a wide variety of people who share our respect for this great natural resource.

Meet DAWGS Current President Neil Neumeyer
Neil Neumeyer has been a member of DAWGS since its inception. Neil served on the steering committee for his first two years and then
moved into the Vice President position for the past two years. In August of 2008, Neil assumed his current role of acting President of DAWGS.
Neil has traveled throughout the western hemisphere in search of his big catch. He has cast lines in British Columbia, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Bahamas, Chile, Argentina, and certainly Wyoming. Neil began using his fly rod in earnest in the late 90`s. He has been an exclusive fly fisherman since.
Neil still holds nostalgic memories of plunking a worm in the waters of Pike County, Pennsylvania. Neil also fished the Delaware and Lackawaxen Rivers. Lake Walenpaupack was where Neil spent his childhood and whet his appetite for angling.
